Now, more than ever, being recognised within the industry with a consistent brand and informative website is imperative.
DBS has over 30 years’ experience working exclusively for the dental profession but, it was time to give itself a thorough check-up. Managing partner, George Manolescue recently celebrated a third of a century in the industry. George explains ‘we have assisted 100s of clients through their whole career from graduation, through to retirement. Our brand had aged, as anything of 30 years would and our website had lost its link with current day technology’. DBS has now had the full treatment, with a fresh logo, website, new services and a strapline ‘Accounting exclusively for dental professionals’ you know straight away what they do.
A totally new website with bold aspiring images and a completely rewritten content, delivers a clear message about the services dental professionals require from their accountants and business advisors. It offers every dental professional a clear and seamless journey through the site, with an almost individually tailored feel to your visit. Bucking the trend of the standard accountancy websites, the DBS site talks to you as a dental expert and not an accountant, it tells you what you need instead of expecting you to know. ‘We now have a site that connects with highly trained and intelligent dental professionals, that takes into account their business and finance acumen was not developed as a core subject towards their graduation. When the foundation dentist year is over, they find themselves self-employed and in need of advice, this is where we guide our clients through their careers’. DBS assist and advise clients on all things, such as their first year as an associate, setting up in practice and substantially reducing their tax bill. All the way through to succession planning and practice disposal, they even deal with their rental properties and mortgage references.
A brand new service is also being offered to Foundation Dentists a ‘no-saving, no-fee tax review’; this service checks your tax code, NI and superannuation contributions. It will also submit a tax return claiming for any business expenses including equipment and unless they produce a tax saving, this will be done without a fee.
